So I was all ready to write a really snide and knowing review of this place - making fun of the fact that they play Kiss FM really loud in the morning and how the takeout coffee comes in a polystyrene cup with a funny lid where you have to tear off a bit of plastic - and then I realised that after years of living in Shoreditch being served coffee by cute girls with tattoos and lip piercings in cafes where they're playing some old Lou Reed or maybe ome obscure punk that I'd become a complete coffee snob, or perhaps even just a Shoreditch Nazi.

Anyway I've decided to come here at least 3 times a week for coffee as its pretty decent and only a quid for an americano - the bacon sandwiches (no organic bread) are only 2 quid and the guy who runs the place is really friendly and even though I'd only been here twice before he remembered what I wanted (americano 1 sugar).

Variety is the spice of life they say, I can do without cute tattooed baristas every know and again.
