risotto, pizza, pasta - My boyfriend's parents have flown into London for the weekend (from Madrid) and as always, this means big dinners with all of the family members (and their other halves) who live in London.
So our international party of Spaniards, Greeks, Germans and me; the Brit, chose to meet for dinner at Il Baccio - An Italian restaurant with a reputation for belissima authentic pizzas.

With this in mind, only one person from our group of 10 actually ordered a pizza... a mistake.

7 of us opted for the pasta dishes, which seemed to dominate the menu. Fresh, home-made pasta with a number of different combinations to choose from, such as; swordfish, Sardinian sausage, seafood and more.
However, there was nothing phenomenal about these pasta dishes. I think eveyone with pasta felt a little like it was a dish they could have made for themselves, at home.

2 of us opted for the Seafood risotto (myself included) and it was a delicious mixture of clams, mussels, calamari, and very large shelled prawns.
The only disappointment was the prawns - a little overcooked and lacking flavour.

Needless to say, the person who ordered the pizza wasn't disappointed at all.

Good desserts.

All round, it was a 7/10 experience....i gave an extra point, as the staff were lovely.
