Well first off I want to state a disclaimer before I say anything: I'm a yank. A New Yorker to be exact. I do love pubs though. I visited The camel last April for the first time and found it just totally agreeable. Great ambiance, good barmen, nice pints and great pies. You get a nice pie and mushy peas and a HEAP of awesome mashed potatoes. My friends and I went there lifted our elbows, played some cranium,, laughed a lot, and ate till we could not walk. What more can you ask for. Quality neighborhood pub. This from The Roaming New Yorker.
