bar billiards anyone?

A couple of years ago this pub was a real Shoreditch secret - you could get a seat any night of the week and there was a real mix of graphic designers and old bar soaks. These days there are a few more designers, a few less bar soaks and a few more randoms but it still retains most of its charm.

The bar staff would appear to much prefer if you drank somewhere else - they huff and puff at each drink request but thats kind of fun. Its got carpet and a bar billiards table which - if you haven't played - is amazing and not that frequent in 21st century London.

I think they do some sort of carvary on a Sunday but I've never tried it - for the smokers out there they have a nice garden out back with umbrellas.
