The Olde Shoreditch Station is a cool coffee shop at the end of Shoreditch High Street and Old Street. In the morning they serve up coffee and pastries along with free wifi and tunes (there were highs and lows in that department). It's a nice place to catch up with pals or have a small pow-wow, with free wifi and a pitcher of ice water.

By night the station serves up pints of Artois and puts art up on the walls, attracting a wide range of the sort of folks you're apt to encounter at Old Street and Shoreditch High. It can get crowded, and there are minimal facilities so there's always long lines for the loos. Still, I have often ended up here at some point on a night out, and it doesn't disappoint.

A lot of people don't like this place because of the floor to ceiling windows that overlook the junction of old st / kingsland rd and shoreditch high st however what you will realize is that they're perfectly angled to catch the light and provide warmth to whoever is sat inside reading their book at around 2pm.

The people that work there make awesome coffee but they may sometimes be slow and even spill your coffee but they'll always apologize really nicely.

Out the back they have tables with church pews - although if you're there for the wi-fi remember that there's only 4 plugs for your laptop and it gets busy pretty quickly.
