Having just watched England lose to Croatia in this establishment (and somehow manage to not qualify for Euro 2008), I don't want you to think this is a biased review.

This bar is however as the title suggests, you seem to get two types of customers in this bar, one is the fairly chilled out muzzers crowd who are quite happy to laze on the leather sofa's and sup on a well earned drink of their choice, and THEN you have the other clientele...
Like the guy about 5ft away from us watching the football last night, (picture a chav in the style of those on the front of those "how to be a model chav" books in Waterstone's), who was screaming so hard at the screen that I swear he thought Steve McClaren could actually hear his inane x-rated ramblings, and was certain to have some kind of chav influenced epiphany!
Overall The Village is actually a pretty nice bar, but the atmosphere is so hit and miss it's often more of a disappointment than fun, which you can often even see in the bar staff's eyes when another chav comes rolling through the doors.
Good selection of drinks, and service and the food are pretty good aswell, definitely worth drinks in the summer sun.
