As a meat lover, boy was I glad I was hungry when we went here! For £20 a head (£14,50 for vegetarians) they will keep feeding you until you can go no more! Recreating the traditional churrascaria barbeque of Brazil the meat carvers bring round skewers of every imaginable cut of meat and carve onto your plate, which you can load up as often as you like with salads and even a selection of hot dishes from the buffet. And when I say salads, there are some unusual and exotic taste treats to delight even the vegetarians in our party. deep-fried breaded banana bits being just one, and all the while the meat just keeps coming. Exceptional value if you can take advantage of it!
The only thing lacking was Samba music playing in the background...

I've been to both the Baywater and the Islington branches, and both offer the same great standards. Rodizio Rico is awesome (unless you are a vegetarian) but even then the salad buffet is pretty impresive.
The only danger is filling yourself up on the scrummy cous cous, salads, potato dishes, cheeses, more salads, lasagne (oh yes) in the buffet before the meat even gets to your table.
And once it starts, it doesn't stop! Skewer after skewer will arrive at your table. But a couple of tips - don't come here if you are looking for a flowing conversation with your date. The service is great and polite, but the nature of the venue means this is quite intrustive. Secondly, hold off on the first few rounds because the better and yummier meats always come around last... usually when you are full.
If you are a big eater, this place spells 'challenge' and is a great choice for groups and parties.

At Rodizio Rico they have 12-odd cuts of barbequed meat - beef fillet, beef rump, lamb leg, chicken breast are all there. The waiters continually come around with the meat on huge skewers and cut it onto your plate. It is all you can eat, including a modest salad bar. The atmosphere is friendly with a good mix of families, couples, and groups of friends. In short, this place is fantastic if you like meat!
