Cockney at its Best

5.0 out of 5.0

March 19, 2008

Checklist:

1. Do you love pie?
2. Do you find Cockneys charming?
3. Do you want to try eel made as palatable as it could ever possibly be made?

If the answer to any of the above is yes then you should defo get your booty down to G Kelly Pie and Eel shop.

Real Cockney ladies serve you pie and mash for a quid. And man- are those pies ever good. You know most pies dry out in the baking process but these are succulent and juicy as soon as you bite into them. My boyfriend can eat like five at a time. I can eat about two, not for lack of trying, their just generously sized.

You can also buy bottles of home made vinegar and chilli vinegar for a pound. I really really really love it in there. I sit in and pretend I'm in Sweeney Todd.
