Ok, I'll be honest, it does smell a little..
It's just what happened after the smoking ban - some places faired worse than others.
'The Kingsland' definitely isn't a poncey winebar, if you can't cope with a slight smell of urine, you're in the wrong place.
For all those who don't mind an old man's boozer, odours and all, settle down to the live footy in one of the unfashionably upholstered seats, and order yourself a Guinness.
WOW!
I was there with a friend who is a guinness fiend and we both agreed it was the best pint we'd had since Dublin last year!
With all the new cool bars opening in the area it's nice to keep one that will never try to be more than a simple watering hole for the locals.
This is not the sort of place to impress your girlfriend - which is partly why we liked it so much..
It's now our regular haunt for a no frills night of girlfriend-free football and the dark stuff.
