Cafe OTO- Dalston's secret

4.0 out of 5.0

February 24, 2009

I would never ever find this place by myself. It’s just for those who know Dalston’s secrets. Anyway if somebody reveals it to you or you find Café Oto accidentally, you will …uhm..it’s difficult to say what you will.
The place is really strange. Actually, there’s nothing to admire there. Everything is simple and basic- no artificial creativity, no splendour. A few chairs, a few tables, sofa, piano, naked walls, no music and cold temperature. But you know what? There’s something magic and unusual about this simplicity. Apart from enjoying it, you can have a nice afternoon cup of coffee and a biscuit there. That’s a great place to discuss something without any disturbance and if it’s a date – that’s a perfect venue to analyze and observe your future victim. I heard that there are also many interesting music and art events happening there during nights and I’m able to believe in that looking at their website: www.cafeoto.co.uk. Sounds good!!!
