French observation post

3.0 out of 5.0

November 25, 2008

What’s your first association? Yes, you’re right- ten pounds for you! L'eau a la Bouche is French. Actually, I’m not sure if the owner comes from the Eiffel Tower country as well- anyway, undoubtedly he/ she put some effort to give us an impression that we’re in a French delicatessen.
L'eau a la Bouche is situated in a great place- in the middle of Broadway Market. Yes, you’re right again (next 10 quids for you)- it’s always overcrowded so it’s almost impossible to get inside. But it’s worth to be patient- as the deli/ café offers amazing products such as cheese (French of course), olives or bread- and everything looks really delicious! Apart from shopping, you can have a cup of coffee and a delicious croissant there as there are a few tables inside and outside.
I think that it’s really nice but a little bit too expensive observation post. Of course, if you follow East London trends (with all respect to all who do that?), it’s simply proper to come over there from time to time.
