Supercuts? More like Insults a cut.
August 23, 2008
I thought I would pop into Blackburn Supercuts as a quick boost before a night out, wrong.
I arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon, I sat in the chair and the manager of Blackburn supercuts put the gown on me. Then began a loud assessment of my hair and it's "crappy condition" and that I needed 4 inches off my long dark hair "to make it look decent" I asked just for the usual trim of 1 inch. The manager then claimed that "my hair is in better condition than yours and I bleach mine" all loudly at the top of her voice in a busy shop. Customers and stylists began staring at me whilst she ran down my hair loudly. When she had stopped her rant about her hair being better, she proceeded to try to sell me a straightening balm that would cure my poorly hair, or as she put it " it will make it less bad" indeed. The hair crime I had committed? treatment for my illness had made my hair dry and brittle, I told her this but she still insulted me loudly. I paid quickly to leave the store, but returned as I felt so low and upset about this public humiliation that I had paid £13.75 for. I was told by her that she did not feel she had done anything wrong. I will not be returning and will tell everybody I know that it is indeed less than poor service and quality. that is unless you love being insulted loudly and paying for it.
