Trying hard trendy pub - Sadly doesn't quite hit the right note as a done up gastro pub but trying hard. Excellent range of beers, idiosyncratic blackboards expaining beers trying to rally people into fun, no fun to be had though. Quiet at the best of times, good for a saturday afternoon drink before heading somewhere else for a more decadent time. Nice decor, wooden floors etc, ultimately a paper reading, navel gazing,venue. Food menu looks acceptable. 10-12-07
