Great 'babs, but wear a vest.

This place is excellent. I live round the corner and have taken away and eaten in on a bunch of occassions.
The centrepiece of Best Mangal is a 10ft BBQ pit surrounded by stools, which remarkably people still sit on, even though they are covered in tell-tale burn marks! (Personally, I'm not a fan of nut roast.) The smell coming from this badboy is amazing, fragrant sizzling lamb, chicken, quail and veg all perfume the rather basic-but-that's-why-its-charming eating area. It does, however, make it a tad warm - so leave those hoodies at home.
OK, so I've mentioned the meat, which is brilliant: If there's 2 of you, have the whole aubergine stuffed with minced lamb. Or a mix grill thing. If you eat in you get nice rice with this, if you take out, all wrapped in flatbread with salad. Both good. There's also loads of mezze stylee stuff to have; the hot mixed mezze with lambs liver is amaaaaaaaaazing.
Drink the turkish lager or have a G & T. Avoid the wine! If I could improve this place in one way I'd rip out the bar, put more seats in, and get a BYO licence.
Staff are all great for a bit of banter though, and on second thoughts maybe it's worth them having a bar just to watch the guy pour 4 beers with one hand simultaneously.
