The food here is really something, all produce are locally sourced, with their own private farmers in newark. The food is professionally served by superb staff in a relaxed atmosphere. This is the place to go for a luxurious taste of traditional british food in its best form. The restuarant located on the first floor is delecatly decorated in a pastel green, with some quirky pictures of cows and sheep painted by the owners mother in law. The resturant has an excuisite frontal, with glass windows viewing over goosegate, the building itself is the origional boots building, and the decor reflects this. The food is moderatly priced, and is competative with other local restuarants such as Bluu, Ben Bowers. The restuarant is also part of the Gormet society, so you may get 25% off your first two visits. Go and enjoy.
