Schmooze had a refit back in december and one look atthe menu made me think the customer was paying for it. But give them thier due they have a new much more reasonable section which still holds the class of the full menu, its all very very tasty!! was worried to hear they had yet another manager (yawn) but he is great,thanks Eddy!!! very emthusiastic!! and he appears to have introduced a mediteranian table service element which i Love, i mean if someone like thier wonderful Kim were to look after me all night the way she did i might never leave!! Funny and totally charming and a credit to them, as are most of the staff. Its a friendly relaxed hangout and I would recommend it to anyone!! Thanks Guys.

Down to earth sophistication

A bit of a swanky, upmarket orientated gastropub/wine bar, and there are a few others like this in this part of Liverpool. Excellent, but inexpensive food served, good wine selection, often packed but always with a homely, good-laugh kind of atmosphere. And if you want to pull a fortysomething divorcee, get in 'ere on a friday night!
