Made In Shoreditch!

Must be one of the best shops in London. I learned about them from the guys at Flat White who use their stuff throughout. They design and make furniture on premise in a small shop in Shoreditch (top of Brick Lane). They have this crazy computer controlled machine that cuts all the parts out of plywood, then they assemble them by hand. The designs are contemporary, but kinda funky too, and are really versatile. We have a dark mid-size bench we use in our hall along with a white coat rack, absolutely love them both. Maybe best of all, their products are priced for the rest of us, in fact downright cheap by London standards. About that name - according to their website Unto This Last is the title of a book written during the during the height of the industrial revolution, about going back to the days of the local craftsman…crazy eh.
