Went here on the basis of the previous review. Sat down with a friend looked at the menu, looked at my friend, we looked at each other, we left. Place looks really nice but would return only if i was celebrating. Celebrating winning the lottery!!
Why don't people mention how expensive a place is! This bugs me!!!

Great Japanese restaurant in West Smithfield. We stumbled in by accident one evening looking for somewhere to eat. The places around Smithfield are usually heaving, so it was nice to find somewhere serene and not full of drunk suits. Don't be misled by the shop upstairs, saunter downstairs to the basement to find a chic restaurant and cocktail lounge. The staff are super friendly, the food is tasty (usual Japanese classics), but beware - the Shochu cocktails are deadly!
