May I provide a response to the review below, as the owner of Velorution?
Everyone is welcome to come and visit us; you will experience our hospitality and expertise in town bikes and family cycling.
We have written our blog for more than five years, to inform and to campaign for safer cycling. I regret that the reviewer below has misinterpreted one of our postings.

Nice bikes, fascist attitudes

I used to recommend this place to everyone I knew, but since the owner posted several racist diatribes on his blog (http://www.velorution.biz/?p=1450 and subsequent posts) against blacks, Jews and south Asians, I can no longer. Singling out "dark-skinned immigrants" for bad driving and telling them to "go back to your own country" is unacceptable, yet this is what he proposes and defends.

I have been down to the store to talk to Andrea (an immigrant himself, albeit not dark-skinned), and he refuses to apologise, or even acknowledge that his comments were offensive. If you want to buy from a man who espouses such views on the shop's official website, that is up to you. If not, there are lots of other bike shops in town.

AMAZING cycle shop selling bikes that can't be found anywhere else. Like an art gallery for pedal-heads. From Dutch and Danish classics and cargo monsters to the lastest Rolhoff-hubbed easy-riders, cool single-speeds and candy-coloured fold ups. Good stock of proper parts and accessories. Smart, sassy and helpful people working there, who actually know what they're talking about. Servicing good, reasonable and reliable, whatever your steed: I took my old BMX in there and they didn't bat an eyelid.
