tapas-tastic
October 02, 2008
This is my favourite local restaurant and I eat here quite a bit. Sometimes the quality of food can be a little off, which is why it doesn’t get the full five stars.
Don Felipe is a crowded and busy place, so better for eats with friends rather than a romantic dinner. But the food is really good and well priced – as tapas should be. None of this tinned tomato rubbish that you get at La Tasca.
On the weekend they have a live acoustic guitarist who sits on a little perch above the dining area, which never fails to amuse me (the fact he’s raised up, not his guitar-playing abilities).
On a weekend make sure you book or be prepared to queue!
