Authentic as it gets...

Bincho Soho is much cosier and more conveniently located than its sister resto that was in the OXO Tower. Same great food, same great staff and top service. They have set meals now which are great for a quick bite before heading to theatre land. Ask for the Sake Advisor for Sake that they keep away for the sake-junkies. Negima, Nasu, Unagi are my faves, it doesn't get any more authentic than this. Just like being back in Tokyo sloshing beers with the rowdy Salarymen and seemed to be packed full of Japanese customers. They must be doing something right? Check it out for sure. MC

I was excited to go based on the review I read. When we got there, I really liked the entrance...the hall was lit with candles - very earthy and relaxing. Inside decor was just as nice. The food was great and so was the sake. My only complaint and its a big one was the lack of service. We waited for ages to get our drinks, even just tap water! Service was total crap. Food took forever too. When we got our bill, we were not happy to see the service charge automatically included in our bill and there was no way in hell we were paying. It was difficult to get that removed, but sorry Mate, service was crap so no tip! Its a shame really becuase I like the place. Maybe we need to give it another go but I'm apprehensive..... see for yourself. Its also nice location being able to walk along the river when you are done.

Bincho Yakitori.

Firstly the view is amazing.

This place has a great atmosphere. a buzzing and welcoming atmosphere. Considering the view and beingin the OXO tower this place is not ridiculously expensive like you woudl think it to be.

M Tip -If you go, u gotta have the Eel, Quails Egg with Bacon, Augerbine and Cows Tongue - Yep Tongue! They were all amazingly good.
