Jashan - A Surprise and Delight - We were taken here recently by some Indian friends and were knocked back by the quality of the dishes. Don't be put off by the location. The food is varied, delicious, incredibly fresh, and unlike any other Indian food I've had in the UK. It's very good value and the staff are friendly and professional. 22-03-11

Jashan, an old favourite - i've lived in turnpike lane for just over ten years and the jashan was the first indian restaurant i tried after moving in. For me it's still the original and best.

Sure there are several other decent places to try, but nothing beats the friendly staff, simple decor and of course great food.

Not only do they prepare a fantastic range, they really have some subtle skills with the spices. 15-10-07
