Just moved from New York to London 3 months ago and decided to check this place out since several friends and work colleagues have been singing the praises of a really cool retro American bowling alley in West London. One word: WOW! Actually, two words: Wow Wee! I strolled in like a wide-eyed kid in a candy store and was greeted by a lovely pink dress wearing Dita Von Tease-looking receptionist who gave me a short tour of the diner, the 6 bowling lanes and their western-themed Private Room. Didn't have time to stay for a game or dinner but I did enjoyed a tasty Mint Julep at the bar as I watched a beautiful crowd of 20-somethings dance around and head to the lanes for a game of bowling. I'm hooked! Already booked a lane for next week for me and 4 friends and can hardly wait!

My boyfriend had his birthday at All Star Lanes Bayswater last Saturday. I didn't have very high expections so I was pleasantly surprised.....the receptionist on the phone was really helpful and reserved our group an area in the bar for pre bowling drinks. On arrival my boyfriend was presented with a birthday card containing a voucher for a free birthday cocktail- nice touch! The bowling was loads of fun and we filled ourselves up in the diner- we were all starving after the exercise!
I would definitly recommend All Star Lanes for future birthday parties! Thanks for a fab night.

Great bowling, friendly staff, (could've done with more than one game) ,but then you're tied in to eating from their diner.
Possibly the worst food in the West End.
Extravigantly over priced... dry burgers and undercooked ribs. A real shame, as this could have been a real diamond location.
To add even more insult to injury, a Knickerbocker Glory as a dessert consisting only of diced jelly and whipped cream from a can... £7.00!!! We refused to pay for it.
Good lanes...but given the choice... eat somewhere else...please!
