relaxing pub, mediocre food

when the weather is decent, this place is a great spot to hang out and drink a beer overlooking the canal. there's a good mix of people coming in and out. it seems to attract people as they walk by from the canal.
i've been to this place twice.
first time was a just for drinks and watching a match.
the second time was for lunch. i expected pub grub level food. this place is trying a little too hard. they should stick to the basics. i tried the roast chicken baguette. they ruined it with cranberry sauce. my partner had the risotto...not enough cheese and pretty tasteless. so overall, it was just food and not much to write about.
the coffee was actually decent.

Nice lil Spot on the Canal

What I like about the Narrow Boat is the local. Right on the canal, comfy couches, balancy where you can chill overlooking the canal. Food was decent, wait staff were a tad bit slow but the 3 times I have been there it's always been busy so maybe they are trying to get used to that! I like this spot, deserts are yummy, definitely try the Elderflower Ice Cream, it is deelicious!
