This little Victorian gem is hidden away in Kentish Town back street. Downstairs it retains a rather ramshackle Victorian pub charm (red velvet benchseats, original fireplaces, etc) whilst the restaurant upstairs has a more modern decor (and more importantly provides pretty good nosh at a reasonable price).
Kentish Town's best kept secret, you'll often see the odd famous person supping away here (Rufus Sewell last time I was there) along with its everpresent eccentric looking locals and groovy young kids!
