Good place to meet - The location makes this a good place to meet before a night out, but it's a decent pub to spend a couple of hours on anyway. Always a good range of beers, had good reports of food and wine but not tried them myself. Good value. 29-01-11

Lots of outdoor seating - I've only been here twice, but one was an unusually warm London night so loads of people were out and about around Angel. The york's a great place to just chill outside with a couple of beers and even strike up a random conversation with the people walking towards other pubs on upper st.

Very lively both nights I've been. 23-10-08
