3 courses for £25 v good value
July 08, 2009
I am a big fan of the set menu in lovely places. So when I came across 3 courses for £25 (or 2 for £21) I was chuffed becuase I had always wanted to go there. I had fish cakes to start, gnocchi as my main and a glass of house white. My mum had ham hock and makeral. Both course were fab. We had to wait 40 mins for the second course and were consiquiently offered our desserts for free. Which I had the choc tart and my mum had the summer fruit pudding. The lateness of our second course wasnt the end of the world as we didnt have to complain. The waiter noticed and resolved, there is also worse places to people watch that the dorchester. However it did make us late for other appointments later in the day. All in all fab food fab value. Service was good. Without the delay it would have been 10 out of 10
