Planes, beer and no automobiles

Really nice pub with model airplanes suspended from the ceiling and a cute little smokers garden at the back. Amstel on tap and happy bar staff.

Good food, well at lunch time anyway (their fish finger sandwiches ROCK - proper goujons and not Birds Eye rubbish). We went at dinner and the falafel was pretty dire.

A Festive Pub

The Enterprise is a fun, colourful pub on Red Lion Street, just off of Theobald's road. The place is deeper than it is wide, and has a lot of interesting and eclectic art hanging on the walls. I came here with a group of friends after work and it was a nice spot to sit together, have a pint and chat. There was music on, but not too loud and overpowering, which is nice. It was a bit dim in there, but that's not always such a bad thing.

They have Staropramen on tap, one of my preferred beers, so that made me happy, but there was also a decent selection of bottled brews and a reasonable wine list. They serve food until 2130, and the menu is a mediterranian/meze influenced one with an emphasis on hummous, falafel, and other yummy bits. Sadly on our visit we got down to ordering food too late and had to settle for a bag of crisps. Still, the Enterprise was a good find and one that we are likely to come back to, as it is pretty well located while simultaneously being off of the high street. Worth a visit.
