I've been coming here for years and its always a treat. It can be tricky to find a nice pub in Soho but this one has charm by the bucket load.

PSM (pre smoking ban) it was great to huddle in downstairs, where they've got a great juke box, in one of the little nooks and scheme with friends about this and that.

PSM (post smoking ban - hmm that needs some work) just like when we'd go in the summer everyone is piled outside on the very narrow pavements - its great though, there's a really fancy bar round the corner so there are always massive SUV's coming past with chauffeurs that ride up on the pavement which creates a great community (us against them) atmosphere.

Also its sooo central that wherever your friends live they'll always be able to get home.
