Blind As A Tick

3.0 out of 5.0

May 30, 2008

The space/décor isn’t particularly interesting or charming, though the faux underground Belgian pub look is worth a mention. The crowd isn’t that interesting or memorable, if I recall. But the beer…

God bless those Belgian Monks know how to party. Bierodrome (and their sister Belgo) have one of the largest selections of Belgian beers in the UK including Trappist ales, fruit beer, white beer, Abbayes and many more. Try a couple of the Chimay Bleu (9%) or Rochefort 8’s (9.2%) and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

The Moules are probably pretty good too, Belgo's are, but this spot might be better for just drinking.

And when you roll out of there blind drunk, making an arse or yourself, you’ll feel right at home on Upper Street.
