Totally agree with Jo W. Regent's Park is by far my favourite park in London (and maybe the world) as there are so many different and unique areas and I love the English flower gardens that are on the Southeast side of the park. We also usually spend one Sunday a month hiking around Hampstead Heath. It's huge and more rugged and full of gentle hills so you actually feel like you're getting some exercise. We took a disposable BBQ there last summer (technically not allowed so go to the Highgate side and find somewhere hidden). I love the swimming ponds on the Highgate side too. Great for a hot, sunny day.
