If he can deliver on what he said he would, then I think I'll be ok with him. Next generation Routemaster, YES! Of course few politicians ever actually do what they said they’re going to do? Why don’t we revisit this post every quarter and discuss progress?

I have my doubts that a yet another blue blood boor is really what London needs to move forward and improve, funny hairdo or no.

That being said, I like people that actually speak their mind and have a genuine desire to push controversial ideas to the forefront, although he has said some pretty stupid offensive things in the past. It is going to take a fairly headstrong dynamic leader to get London ready for the Olympics and maintain the peace, and only time will tell if he's the one to do it.

I liked Boris Yeltsin so I believe that English version of Boris will also be cool or at least interesting...And the most important thing (for me)- he cycles to work every day so show him some respect, guys!:)

What makes Boris awesome and hopefully effective is the fact that unlike Ken he's not a 'politician' and doesn't have that nauseating snake-like charm that so many politicians have - this however could be his downfall.

I do think that reaching out to Bloomberg was a smart move though.
