this is the best in Chester - Hi, don't do this sort of thing but felt we needed to as the guys who run it are great.

Found this by accident walking through the Park, seats by river good, but menu was the best, kids loved the huge home made burger stacks with bacon cheese, and fries, but we loved the daily special on offer, all home made, I had Malysian beef with ginger and jasmine rice, wife went for the Paella with Chorizo and Prawns, this is not just food as they say, this is grat food and at a decent price.
But what caused us to write started talking to David about a hoilday we were planning to Penang!, seems the guys used to own a large travel business and knew Penang well, so I asked Dave for info, well the info he gave us not only saved us money, but due to the advise on what airline to use, got 3 free hotel nights on bb+tranfers thrown in, now that is what I call real help.
So go, great guys, great food, jukebox mega, 5 star place.
Thanks guys see you soon.

fantastic place - Was in Chester the other week, been a few times but was in the park and walked down to the river, found The Groves for the first time, well have been down before but only at the bottom of Bridge Street.
Why don't Chester Visitors Centre tell tourists about the " LOST end of of the Groves " A nice riverside Pub, The Boat House with a nice riverside terrace, not like the Bistro...full of youngsters.
But the Prize is The Blue Moon Cafe/Bistro, what a find, kids loved it, loads of games, we loved it, full of 50s/60s posters, albums, books a real time warp, music fantastic all the oldies, bill haley, Elvis, Bobby Darren list goes on, a real AMI juke box must be worth a lot of money, but the diner menu is huge loads choice, plus Chefs Special, big choice of really different food.
We are hooked on the place....
