Located 2 floors above Genevieve, and with its welcoming atmosphere, Lonsdale is a popular and funky venue for both friends and couples. Staff are friendly and very attentive. Dishes are popular with a host of dishes including pumpkin risotto, duck and various light snacks. They also have a DJ playing a range of tunes.

Friendly upmarket bar - I wasn't expecting this place to be that great, to be honest, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'd suggest going well before 12 midnight though, because they shut around 1.30am. Once you get in, the waiters are very attentive. (They put up their price a bit to let you in, sometimes). I only had to order at the bar, and our drinks were brought to our table. My friends and I even got a couple of drinks on the house. The cocktails are really good as well.
Warning: It's in a completely residential part of Notting Hill, so once you're out, you'll have to move fast or be shooed out by the door men/women.
