H8 Tesco - Ugh I ended up here Sunday lunchtime trying to buy some food - it's kind of busy on a lunchtime in these parts however after doing my shopping and getting into the queue I was harangued by some assistant trying to convince me I needed to do the self checkout - I was a bit hung over and just wanted someone to do it for me.

HOWEVER I realised their trick - out of 20 checkout tills they only had 2 people working them! So its pretty busy and you're working at 10%? Way to go Tesco! What an awesome way to get people to use the self-checkout service, by frustrating them until they'd rather die than wait in the queue another second so they go and checkout their stuff themselves thus saving you ยฃ5 an hour by not having to employ someone to do it!

Haha well that might work for some of the suckers out there but not me Mr Tesco - I'm made of stronger stuff than that! I stayed in that queue for 20 minutes! On a Sunday lunchtime - yup 20 minutes and I didn't even flinch. It's take more than running your shops with 10% staff to make me use the self checkout although I wonder what will happen when you cease to employ any humans at all - I have a feeling we'll be at stalemate and I may have to go elsewhere!
