Caffe Vergnano
London
Reviews
Best Latte's in London? - OK - anyone who's from Down Under knows their coffee. The cafe society thrives principally as a result of great weather making it conducive to sit outside drinking great coffee.
OK so we don't have great weather here in London but it doesn't mean the coffee has to suck as bad as it does. The issue is the Brit's have been drinking tea for so long and suddenly they've been overwhelmed with coffee chains and think its tres cosmopolitan to drink their grande latte's in massive cardboard cups... scorching hot burnt milk and bitter coffee. Awful. And they just keep queuing up at Nero's, Costa, Starbucks, Pret, Eat... etc
But there is hope! There are only 3 places serving up half decent coffee in London: Monmouth, Flat White (run by Kiwi's) and Caffe Vergnano. These guys know how make a good coffee and the milk is served at the correct temperate and consistency. Go on and try it - it makes sense. You will refuse to accept mediocre coffee again. Enjoy!
